Glenmont, The Edison Mansion

The entrance to The Edison Site includes Edison's nearby mansion named Glenmont. A beautiful home with charming grounds. Edison and his wife are both buried on the grounds. The tour of the house is limited to timed small groups so it makes the tour very nice. The interior is quite dark so we didn't get many good pictures of inside. You also get to walk around the grounds to see the entire environment where Edison lived.

After our visit to the Edison site we headed back to return our rental car in Newark and the took the train to New York to see opera and to be tourists.
