March 2017 Meeting

Albert Menashe - March 18, 2017 and Rose City Collectors Market show - March 19, 2017

What a great OTAPS weekend. A well attended meeting at the home of Albert Menashe full of fun and food was great. A surprise for many was the unexpected arrival of Texas based record auctioneer and phonograph collector Kurt Nauck (of Kurt Nauck's Records). He was in the area on a record buying trip. One fun (or perhaps frustraing) thing Kurt shared with us was the find of a Berliner Trade Mark and a Berliner box of Berliner records in Portland. He received a call on the road about the machine not owned by a collector. Some people have all the luck!

The next day at the Monarch Hotel in Clackamas Oregon (south Portland) was full and busy. OTAPS was well represented with 34 tables.
